Hound Reminders allows users to schedule reminders for individuals in their contacts list through SMS messages. The reminders can be set for appointments, special occasions like Mother's Day, work-related tasks such as bringing materials to a meeting, or any custom reminder needed.
Upon sending a reminder, users receive push notifications once it is delivered. Customization options can be managed in the settings menu, providing flexibility for user preferences.
Additionally, users can send follow-up reminders with completion links. Tapping the link acknowledges completion of the task and triggers a push notification for the sender, making it useful for tasks like medication reminders.
If opting for the Hound Pro subscription at $2/month, charges will be applied to the iTunes account upon confirmation. The subscription auto-renews unless canceled 24 hours before the current period ends, with cancelation possible through iTunes account settings. Unused free trial periods will be forfeited upon subscribing.
